Meet Your Officiant
Chaplain & Wedding Officiant
A wedding ceremony should feel like the two people standing at the center of it. My job is to bring calm, clarity, and meaning to that moment without making the ceremony about me.
The Person Standing With You
It is about the promises being made and the people who came to witness them.
My role is to help make that moment clear, personal, calm, and worthy of the commitment being made.
As an ordained chaplain, I approach weddings with respect for marriage, family, faith, and the individual values of each couple. Some couples want a traditional Christian ceremony. Some want a civil ceremony with no religious language. Others want something in between. The ceremony should sound like you, not like a script that could belong to anybody.
My background in public speaking, radio, executive leadership, military service, teaching, and community work has taught me how to lead important moments without making myself the center of them. On your wedding day, that means a steady voice, clear preparation, and a calm presence when the room needs one.
How I Approach the Ceremony
The goal is not to make your ceremony complicated. It is to make sure the important parts are handled well.
Understand the tone, values, family, and meaning you want reflected.
Make sure you know what will happen and what is needed before the wedding day.
Bring a steady presence so the ceremony feels natural even when the day feels busy.
Include faith, tradition, family, service, culture, humor, and personal story when they belong.
Ceremonies I Serve
I officiate civil, traditional, faith-friendly, Christian-informed, elopement, blended-family, veteran and first responder, and fully customized ceremonies.
